Colts slide past Titans, 23-20
The host Indianapolis Colts overcame a late turnover to get past the pesky Tennessee Titans, 23-20.
A fumble late in the game by Dominic Rhodes set the Titans up for the game-winning field goal, but some luck came the Colts’ way.
Quarterback Kerry Collins bobbled the snap and then kicked the ball out of reach, allowing the Colts to scoop it up.
Quarterback Peyton Manning then took care of the rest, marching his team down the field for the game-winning kick.
With the win and a Kansas City loss, the Colts clinched the No. 3 seed in the AFC and will host the New York Jets in the first round of the playoffs.
