The host Indianapolis Colts overcame a late turnover to get past the pesky Tennessee Titans, 23-20.
A fumble late in the game by Dominic Rhodes set the Titans up for the game-winning field goal, but some luck came the Colts’ way.
Quarterback Kerry Collins bobbled the snap and then kicked the ball out of reach, allowing the Colts to scoop it up.
Quarterback Peyton Manning then took care of the rest, marching his team down the field for the game-winning kick. (Read More…)

The Indianapolis Colts made enough plays to get past the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars, 34-24.
Wide receiver Austin Collie caught two touchdown passes in his return before being knocked out with another concussion.
Hopefully, someone with some sense takes control of this situation and forces him to sit out the rest of the season.
The big story was the performance from running back Donald Brown, who had 129 yards and a touchdown on just 14 carries. (Read More…)

The Indianapolis Colts still haven’t found a way to solve the San Diego Chargers following a 36-14 loss.
Quarterback Peyton Manning tossed four interceptions in the loss, something that almost never happens.
For whatever reason, the Chargers defense has his number, and it didn’t help he was missing so many key weapons.
The Colts defense is also battered and bruised, and they couldn’t slow down running back Mike Tolbert. (Read More…)

The Indianapolis Colts have placed wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez on injured reserve, ending his season.
Gonzalez suffered a left knee injury when he was tackled near the sidelines by the Texans Bernard Pollard.
No flag was thrown on the play, but the Colts believe it was a cheap shot because he was hurt while being tackled out of bounds.
Gonzalez has an extensive history of injuries, especially when it comes to the knee, so he is more fragile than most. (Read More…)

The Indianapolis Colts got revenge for their loss earlier this season to the Houston Texans with a 30-17 victory.
Quarterback Peyton Manning didn’t seem troubled by all of the team’s offensive injuries, throwing for 268 yards and two touchdowns.
It appears he may have found a new tight end to his liking in Jacob Tamme, who had six catches and a touchdown.
Running back Mike Hart got the start for the Colts and ran for 84 yards before leaving the game with an injury. (Read More…)

Indianapolis Colts center Jeff Saturday had arthroscopic surgery on one of his knees to remove loose pieces floating around in there.
Since becoming the starting center for the Colts in 2000, Saturday has missed just six games.
The 11-year veteran has become part of the foundation of the Colts in anchoring the offensive line.
He is also very helpful to quarterback Peyton Manning in helping him recognize certain coverages. (Read More…)

Indianapolis Colts safety Bob Sanders is pleased with his rehab progress, but it might not be as peachy as he makes it out to be.
Some sources are saying that Sanders might never step back on a football field because of shoulder and bicep issues.
Sanders has been plagued with injuries ever since his rookie season, with his shoulder being the major culprit.
Indianapolis may have to start looking toward the future at safety and target that position in next year’s draft. (Read More…)
